An externally mounted device for fuel level measurement, the ultrasonic fuel level sensor (Model: TUB32) is engineered to gauge liquid level heights in fuel tanks, containers, and vessels. Presently, its primary use is in oil tanker monitoring systems: it detects fuel theft, optimizes operational expenses, improves driver behavior, and supports statistical decision-making by monitoring fuel level changes in oil tanks in real time. Using ultrasonic detection principles, the sensor measures fuel level height, converts it to fuel volume with intelligent processing, and sends the data to a backend monitoring system platform via GPRS—allowing real-time tracking of fuel level variations. Besides, the product is applicable to liquid level detection in the chemical, water conservancy, and storage tank industries.

Working Principle

The Ultrasonic Fuel Level Sensor operates based on the ultrasonic echo ranging principle, combined with digital signal processing technology, to overcome interference from container walls and achieve high-precision non-contact measurement of liquid levels within containers. This method meets industrial application requirements and can be utilized for fuel volume monitoring, liquid level detection, and liquid identification.

Application Scope: Already widely used in logistics fleets, passenger buses, oil tankers, fire trucks, various sanitation vehicles, and fuel tanks of different commercial vehicle types for real-time fuel level monitoring.
